November 27th, 2006After many months i have finally obtained my new camera, a Canon EOS 350D.
Currently I am trying to get used to using it , meaning that most of my pictures are merly test images of not so high quality.
From this moment on ths blog will be updated more often (atleast once a week) with my progress of learning how to handle the camera or with pictures I took.
Dead but not forgotten
October 3rd, 2006This place may be kinda dead right now (it never really was alive to begin with) but I have not forgotten about it.
Soon (in about two months) this place shall see a minor makeover (content-wise).
Now, what is this change gonna be you, the non-existant reader, ask ?
Well, I am planning on obtaining a new camera, a Canon EOS350D.
Currently my finances are right on track to make this happen early december (half november if I get lucky). when I finally do get it I can finally take decent pictures (I know, it all depends on skill but when compared to a compact point-and-shoot camera the overal quality is higher), giving me something to actually post here.
Maybe that will finally attract some visitors and force me to update this here thing.

Spammers
November 16th, 2005Some chinese spam company thought my forum must have been an easy target for spamming. Too bad for them i found out about it and dealt with it quickly. If the problem returns (which it shouldn’t because you have to register to post anywhere (missed one forum before) and when registering you have to confirm your registration) i am going to ban the entire 218.0.0.0 ip range.
Maybe not the most friendly sollution but atleast it works

The evolution of the forum
November 11th, 2005Over the past few days i have been modding the foum a bit to bring back some lost mods.
Instead of bringing back lost mods i have been installing new ones though which, in my eyes, are a valuable addition to the board. There is now support for global moderators, custome member titles and links now fade to their moseover color =P
The fading links do mess up the user legend on the bottom of the page though but i can probably fix that later.
It still needs a new name though

November 9th, 2005I am still working on getting this place more active.
The forum is pretty much dead right now and i don’t have enough time to actually work on it for extended periods of time.
On a side note: The forum still needs a fitting name, something i can’t really think of right now.
If anyone who reads this knows a good name i would be delighted to hear it.
